Cricket is not just a game, It's an Emotion

When you talk about sports especially in India, the first sport that comes to mind is cricket. Cricket draws in 93% of all sports viewers in India. Most of the popular cricket stars of today got into cricket by playing on the streets. When we talk about cricket, how can we forget our living legend Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin is known as GOD OF CRICKET. He makes whole India proud many times when he was playing by his great knocks. 

The high availability of cricket training and coaching centres is a huge reason behind the popularity of cricket in India. Movies like LAGAAN and MS DHONI - THE UNTOLD STORY boosts popularity of cricket. Cricket enjoys massive media coverage in India. All cricket tournaments are extensively covered in both digital, televised, and print media. As a result, cricket is well known by each and every personn of India. Here you can see Dhoni, Sachin, Yuvraj fans in every street playing in a crazy ways every evening.

"You don't play for the crowd, you play for the country"- MS Dhoni said these words when he played an outstanding innings against Australia in 2009. "People throw stones at you and you convert them into milestones" - Sachin Tendulkar.

There are many emotional moments in history of cricket. Some of them are :-

1) Guptill Getting Emotional after World Cup Loss.

2) MS Dhoni getting emotional after run out in Semi Final against New Zealand in 2019 CWC.

3) Saurav Ganguly removing his T- Shirt at Lords Balcony in England.

4) Sachin's last match of his excellent career.

There are unlimited examples in history of game which defines that it's an emotion. Yuvraj Singh  played and won Man Of The Series award in 2011 World Cup while suffering from cancer. It defines the pure love and passion for game. He is an Inspiration to millions of youngsters like me. The popularity and Love for cricket is increasing day by day. Despite Hockey being the national sport of the country, it is cricket which rules over the hearts of the citizens. It creates a lot of excitement and frenzy amongst the fans of the game.
