Yoga for a healthy life

What is Yoga? This is the first question that comes to our mind when we hear anyone speaking about yoga. Well let me tell you in simple words Yoga is like an exercise through which we stretch our body to make it flexible and in a way it promote good health. But believe me all the healthy people are not happy. It is through Yoga that we find happiness from within. There are eight different stages in practice of Yoga and they are, namely, yama (self control), niyama (religious observance), asana (posture), pranayama (regulating breathing), pratyahara (self restraint), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and somadhi (final stage of complete knowledge). Apart from these there are different types of asanas like Padmasana which helps to make the backbone strong. Then there is Mayurasana which helps in improving our blood circulation throughout our body. Like these there are so many different kinds of asanas and each and every type of asanas have its own unique benefit for the humans. The benefits of yoga is immense and now it is employed everywhere and in some schools it has been made compulsary keeping the sight the physical and moral benefit of the students.
