Past should be brushed aside.  Wisdom lies in concentrating on the Present  to build better India for the future. With an able leader like Modi, all the evils created by the past Government should be erased including Triple Talaq.

Triple talaq should be removed by consensus rather than imposition to be effective. 

Muslims are following their religion and i don't  think any muslim women wants to go against the religion if they are true muslims. If they want the civil code they can change their religion.

Triple Talaq is a procedure of Divorce under the Sharia law, Triple Talaq is archaic . In Triple Talaq  one man obtain divorce  from his wife instantaneously by uttering Talaq three times. Why this regressive practice should be allowed to remain in this modern era ?

UCC gives Indian citizens more options and equality. If any Muslim wants to practice and is happy with triple talaq she is welcome to do so and for those women who are more enlightened, there is the option of seeking legal help. .. what is far more important than personal opinions is the interest of the nation 

Consensus brings in willing compliance. 

Triple Talaq continued in India for all these decades due to the policy of appeasement followed by the Congress, but now Modi has acted and it's a welcome development.  I wonder with what face Congress asks for a vote as it has a big hand in keeping obscurantism and backwardness in India. Just look at history from China to Kashmir to UCC the Congress led by Nehru initially created all the problems and now even Modi finds it difficult to clean the stink from the Augean stables.

Modi's efforts to clean the Congress created stink of  Augean Stables  is commendable. Congress will never leave any opportunity to destabilize Midi Government.

Modi is very firm about scrapping Triple Talaq system.
