Format for Application to the Municipal Corporation
in Improving English Writing Skills
Can any body please provide me with the format for an application to the Municipal Corporation for some work.

    You can get prescribed format from Municipal corporation. If there is no prescribed format, you need draft application yourself. The form will be like this:

    To

    The Municipal commissioner
    Patna Municipal corporation
    Patna

    Dear sir

    Sub: (the subject matter of your request)

    It is submitted that i am resident of (address) .

    There are (state problems)

    It is requested that (state what you want)

    An early action will be heartily appreciated as the matter is most urgent

    Nice that you sent the application. But the format will be helpful in every letter that you have to send anywhere in future.

    all that we do is to write correct designation of the officer and organization, write subject matter, facts and problem, remedy needed and request for doing the job and closing the letter with thanks and signature.
