the eagerness to complete own task from others and after there is no care of others is called selfishness and this the reason of becoming selfish that we want that our task should be completed first .
The strong desire to acquire something gives birth to selfishness.Hence anyone can't be untouched with it.Someone loves himself and hence is selfish, someone is selfish for his family.Actually, it drives a person to act passionately to achieve something.
So, even a social worker is selfish as it gives him immense satisfaction to serve/help the society especially the weaker section.
