    The power consumption also depends on the type of desktop and laptop as some are meant for saving power.. But there wont be much difference..however Pc is configured in such a way that it consumes more power..

    Desktop consume more power than Laptop. Desktop has separate monitor, Speakers, CPU & other devices.
