Yes, India should have asked US govt to use Remote Neural Monitoring Device(RNM) instead of Radio tag or RFID tag on the ankle of Indian students for the purpose of monitoring or surveillance. It(RNM) can be used for the purpose of surveillance without any contact with the target. The device directly make radio frequency contact with the human brain or any thing as a matter of fact from remote place. Nobody will find out that he/she is under surveillance.
This is the device which is now commonly used by domestic detective agencies in India for the purpose of domestic surveillance and mental torture and harassment. Above all it is developed by USA's NSA.

Our govt ought to ask for strict action which I feel has been done.Its not only inhumane,but utterly humiliating.

Even I am angry with the issue. But if same thing is being done by our govt. to our own people in the name of surveillance, what will be your reaction. This is happening in India also and to our own people by govt. machineries. We people are also under surveillance, only difference is that those students were deliberately given RFID collar to make them aware that are under surveillance. There are other methods(RNM device), one I have mentioned in above post, which can be used for the surveillance purpose and nobody can ever find that he or she is under surveillance through out his lifetime. That device(RNM) is equally humiliating and inhumane and highly torturous.RFID tag or radio collars can do the same thing as RNM can do, only difference is that RFID tag is placed in the target whereas RNM do not require and contact. Both devices work on Radio frequency.
My appeal is to stop using such devices in the name of surveillance.
