We see violent pretests by political parties in India. Do you think there is a need to set the public and private vehicles on fire? Is this is the only way to protest against something? If there is any peaceful mode to protest please post..

No i dont think thats the best way. It can be done the Gandhiji's non-violence if at all you want some change in the system. When you dont respect the public asset, then you don't have the right as a citizen. It's a mere waste of asset and time. But people will necer understand that.

The violent protests are mockery of democracy. Parliament is the forum of discussion. The public support may be solicited through mass rallies without disturbing public life and much less derstroying public property, which is very heinous. Even if some demonstrative effect is desired, the protestors should march in lines without disturbing traffic and submit memoranudum to authorities peacefully.

Some times it seems to me that there is very little difference between our political parties and terrorists. Both are burning public vehicles. Only difference is the former burns an empty vehicle but the latter with people.

It's a very dangerous trend and almost every day we get reports of violent protest and demonstrations resulting in mindless acts of vandalism from one part of the country or the other. The most shocking aspect is that it is the money of the taxpayers of this country which go down the drain this way!
All these protests and rallies are organized by politicians just to inflate their vote banks.
There moves are always politically motivated...
