How to know the result of a poll without casting vote?

Today I visited a poll and didn't cast my vote,but commented on it.But I wanted to know the result of that polls and without casting my vote I can't see it!(I think I am correct).Then how can I know the result of the poll ?

    Hello Abid. I have asked the same question before. The answer is you can't. Just vote on your polls. You can view them whenever you want. Just subtract one vote(that is yours) from the result. The reason for this as replied by Mavrick is that, the poller has to also vote his opinion.

    That is OK if poll is ours.But if a poll is posted by other and I don't wish to poll but wish to see result of poll so far what can we do?There should be some some solution like "see the result so far"

    Yes, that is an interesting thought. I usually vote on most of the polls i want to see the result. You should suggest this under suggestions.

    @Abid, we have thought of adding that facility but stepped out in order to ensure the viewer to cast his vote and encourage the author. Otherwise, the providing the facility is not a problem.

    Your thought from the side of poll creator is OK.But when I gone through polls many of them have no choices of my mind.How can I vote to such polls?But at the same time I was eager to know the result.But alas, no way.

    Hmm.. Good question.. You may need to spend couple of minutes and you need to decide the option you prefer. Btw.. if you are interested in viewing result of a poll, you must have an option in your mind :)

    No no.I will give an example.Last day a poll was there - whose poll you enjoy or like that.About ten options were there.I didn't caste my vote since I polls rarely.But I wished to know the opinion of others.Eventhough I failed there I didn't move from my decission of vote casting.Did you got my point?
